Brandon Bressert

One thing I love about my job is how I am connected to each of my clients. Some are strangers to me, but I am close with others. Some find me randomly with no connection at all. And some know me from other events in their lives. Brandon and his family are the latter. Brandon’s older sister, Natalie, is in my small group at church. I went to her baby shower over a year ago, photographed her son as a newborn, and Brandon has played basketball for my brother for the last few years. He’s not a total stranger to me.

For Brandon’s session we went to Adriatica – which has become extremely popular for my senior sessions. Many people have requested to shoot there, and its easy to see why. That rustic European-style architecture is not common in Texas. The fun part for me is finding different spots and angles to work with. It can be a challenge, when you shoot at the same location for four sessions within a few weeks of each other. I love a challenge, though!

Brandon is definitely a scholar. He enjoys learning. Now that I am out of school, I enjoy learning (go figure!). But if you had asked me in high school, my answer would have been a big fat NO. He’s got a head start. One thing Brandon and I have in common is that our favorite subject is history. He told me it’s important to know our past so we can better our future. Amen, brother.
